Overview
The facility
This dreamlike vacation complex, just 400 m from the sandy beach "Playa de Cala Mesquida", is truly a family paradise. 2 main buildings and 339 apartments, spread over 13 two- to three-storey buildings, flank the spacious pool. The resort offers 24-hour reception, concierge service, 2 buffet restaurants, pool bar "La Palapa", snack pool bar, lounge bar, laundry (for a fee), supermarket, doctor, pharmacy and souvenir store just across the street. Free Wi-Fi throughout the resort.
Location: Only 400 m from the gently sloping beach, 6 km from Capdepera and 7 km from Cala Ratjada. 86 km to Palma de Mallorca and the airport. Approx. 50 m from the bus stop with connections to Cala Ratjada, Manacor, Inca and Palma.
Swimming: Kids splash pool with pirate ship and water slide, swimming pool with sun terrace and free parasols and sun loungers, 3 swimming pools, one of which has an oasis with Balinese beds, heated indoor pool (during low season). On the beach: beach service by external providers for a fee.
Family-friendly: Children's playground, mini club (4-12 years), children's entertainment (March to October), mini disco, children's menus in the restaurant, bouncy castle, video games, leisure and sports entertainment, evening entertainment with shows and live music.
Leisure/sports: Free of charge: fitness room, volleyball, aerobics, aquagym, basketball, air rifle shooting, archery, darts, multi-sports court, table tennis, boccia, minigolf, sauna, whirlpool, Turkish bath. For a fee: bike rental, tennis (hard court), massages. Through external providers: Diving, snorkeling, tennis lessons, squash, golf, horse riding.

About the location
At the easternmost tip of Mallorca is Cala Mesquida, surrounded by dunes and pine trees and only seven kilometres from the municipality of Capdepera, whose coast has become a first-class tourist destination. Here you can enjoy a quiet holiday with sun and sea. Cala Mesquida was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest (Área Natural de Especial Interés) in 1991 due to its valuable ecosystem. It is perfect for hiking and you will find one of the largest colonies of gulls and cormorants in the Balearic Islands, as well as a lush vegetation of wild pistachios and pine forests.

Directions
From Palma de Mallorca Airport: From Palma de Mallaorca Airport take the Carretera de l'Aeroport Ma-19 and follow it for 2.4 km, turn onto the Ma-15 and drive until Ma-4030 direction Manacor / Cala Millor, 58 km. Follow the road to Capdepera and there turn into the bay of Cala Mesquida. At the end of the road you will find the Zafiro Resort.
