Dear Sir or Madam, We would like to thank you for the pleasant days at your hotel. Overall, we felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay. However, we would also like to share some points with you that we believe could help improve the quality even further. In the apartment we noticed a few issues: mold on the bathroom wall spider’s nests the bed sheet was unfortunately still dirty several tiles on the balcony were loose, creating a risk of injury (especially dangerous with a baby) We also found it a bit inconvenient that, with a baby and stroller, we did not receive a ground-floor apartment but one on the first floor. Perhaps in the future, it would be possible to take families more into consideration and, when available, assign more suitable rooms. Another point that is very important to us as parents concerns interactions with children in the restaurant. We know that your staff are always friendly and mean well with children – and we truly appreciate that. However, on several occasions waiters touched our child without asking, for example on the head or arm, sometimes even while eating. We also observed a similar situation at a neighboring table where a child was touched without the parents’ consent. In our case, this happened on two evenings in a row, which was emotionally stressful for me as a parent, as it clearly invaded our child’s personal space. On the third evening, there was a separate misunderstanding with a waiter regarding our order, which led to another unpleasant situation. Altogether, this meant that three evenings in a row were stressful for us instead of relaxing. We are certain that this never happens with bad intentions, but rather out of friendliness. Nevertheless, we would kindly suggest raising awareness among staff that many parents – ourselves included – find it uncomfortable when their children are touched without permission. A smile, a wave, or a kind word is more than enough to engage with children without intruding on their privacy. We are convinced that with more awareness among staff, such situations can easily be avoided, and all guests – both parents and children – will feel even more at ease. Kind regards, B.

Beschäftigte in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich.

Pros: The resort is huge (you can have a bit of a walk of around 10 minutes to the beach or restaurant inside depending of the location where you stay). But is is not that far when you learn to move around. The resort has stores inside so you can even manage to live here without getting out. The food provided is varied and fine, there are also various restaurants around or in Rovinj. Breakfast is 17€ / person daily and dinner is 27€ (dinner is served as a bufet). But you can get them included in the price paid. There is also a pizza & pasta location and one with burgers etc, so there is some variety. There is a taxiboat to Rovinj for 5€ / way and person, which is very usefull. You have a great beach at the resort, with either pebles and sunbeds/umbrelas or just sunbeds around the forest part next to the water but with rocks. It is still accesible. I understood that premium stays get the sunbeds included in the price, we bad no problems the prices were around 15 € / sunbed and 10€ / umbrela. We never had problems finding sunbeds, but the resort wasn't fully booked so we don't know about that situation. There are beachbars and two pools. A cocktail is around 8-12€ depending on type. There is plenty of parking inside. The resort if fairly green and feels like a park, very nice, but this comes at a little price worth knowing: you can get some bugs inside your room. There is also a very nice promenade next to the sea. It is nice during the day and very intimate by night. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was decently equiped, the beds really confortable. We had no complaints with the amenities here. All in all, we had a great vacation and we would definetly consider coming back. Cons: Given that the resort is so big it cand get hard to mantain so you can find some slighly worn pieces of furniture, some apliances or room amenities that have small imperfections. Also, there can be found spaces which could have been cleaned better. Keep in mind that these are aspects that didn't make our vacation here worse, you just need to be informed to not have unrealistic expectations.
